His story as a dentist begins at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in California, where he obtained his doctorate of dental surgery. In 2011, Dr. Clark’s pursuit of dental excellence led him to the Spear Institute in Scottsdale, where he continues to attend seminars, take classes and serve as a mentor to other dental professionals. The AADSM is a nonprofit organization that strives for advancement in dental sleep medicine. Our Philanthropic Efforts

Helping others is at the core of who Dr. Clark is as a person. He has committed himself to giving back to the communities throughout the Greater Phoenix area that have supported his success, and he often volunteers free dental services locally to those less fortunate. He also regularly donates to Smile Train, which is an international organization that helps children with cleft palates throughout the world. Its mission is to help these kids on the fringes of society become accepted and have a second chance at a normal life.

Dr. Clark recently received a special surprise. One of his patients made a significant donation in his name to Healing Hands, a grateful patient program at Loma Linda University, his alma mater. He was honored as a caregiver with a special lapel pin and received a special message of thanks and recognition of his giving spirit from the patient who had honored him. Money donated to Healing Hands supports great causes, including providing the latest equipment and research needed to advance patient care. Among the communities served is the Navajo Nation through the Monument Valley Dental Clinic, which is supported by the Loma Linda School of Dentistry.

The Family at the Center of It All

Dr. Clark’s proudest achievement is being husband to his lovely wife Robin and father to three intelligent, caring, and beautiful daughters. The time he gets to spend with them is truly special. As a group, they often explore the Southwest, visit their extended family throughout California, and travel to new places throughout North America and beyond. Dr. Clark also loves photography, hiking, skiing, fishing, and playing golf, and since his school days, he has been known to don the chef hat and deliver some spectacularly delicious meals.

About Joseph Santoro, DDS Implantologist

Dr. Joseph Santoro is a general dentist and graduate of Colorado School of Dentistry, completed an internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a fellowship in Oral Implantology at the University of Miami ‚ Jackson Memorial Hospital where his training included implant placement, bone grafting, sinus elevation, soft tissue techniques as well as all types of implant based restorations. Furthermore, Dr. Santoro studied Sedation and Anesthesia at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Patterson, New Jersey. As one of just a handful of fellowship trained implant surgeons in the country, Dr. Santoro has dedicated his career to the pursuit of excellence in implant surgery and bone regeneration.
Dr. Santoro is a regional and national designated lecturer for MIS Implants. He holds professional memberships with The American Dental Society of Anesthesiology and The Academy of Osseointegration and is an active volunteer at the CASS dental clinic.
